.E-zines, or electronic magazines, give you the ability to be a publisher without the cost of printing and distribution. You can pick any topic, create a newsletter for that, a website to market the ezine on and to allow subscribers to sign up, and you have the beginnings of a targeted marketing business. You can make money by directly placing ads in your ezine and/or website, by finding products readers would be interested in and arranging for profit split with the producer, and by offering a premium paid subscription option to your free ezine.

You can write the content yourself, but there are also many free content websites that offer articles for you to publish.
